Lockdown has been a hard time for some businesses. And for a lot of people, that’s resulted in redundancies and sadly, homelessness. Once the cycle starts, it can be hard to find a way out and to see a glimmer of hope.
Enter Radical Recruit. Founded by Emma Freivogel, Radical Recruit sets out to help people who are homeless, as well as from disadvantaged backgrounds, get into stable and safe jobs and help them pick their careers back up. Radical Recruit work with their candidates to find the perfect job for their skill set, where their passions and strengths lie. When they started in October 2019, Emma initially set out to help 10 people re-join the workforce, but she didn’t want to stop there. A year later with the help of her expanding team, she’s placed over 75 people into jobs, as well as currently supporting 300 Radicals. That’s a total of £1,250,000 Emma and her team have helped save for the taxpayer.
After operating for a year, Emma and her team needed more funding to carry on their important work. That’s why they’ve started a crowdfunding campaign, to help carry on helping vulnerable people across the UK re-join the work force. Without this money, they will shut their doors and the people they’re helping will lose their opportunities.
When we heard about Radical Recruit, we knew we wanted to help them. The more we learnt about them, the more we knew this business needed our help, and needed to be seen by everyone. Together, we’ve helped Radical to refine their strategy, and to create some awesome content. From creating infographics and social cards, branded HTML emails and a video, our team has been working hard to support Radical Recruit. But we knew we wanted to help their cause in other ways, so we also donated towards their crowdfunding campaign.
