Revealing a global culture


Our client had big ambitions for their culture. This meant they need an in-depth understanding of their existing systems, behaviours and symbols. But with over 78,000 employees spread across the world, it was no easy task. So they asked us for support. To gather perspectives from across their organisation about the day-to-day employee experience and provide them with actionable insights that would drive meaningful change.

Leaving no stone unturned


We started by reviewing all their current materials, speaking to experts and forming an internal advisory team. We interviewed leaders and held focus groups in different parts of the organisation to understand the lived experience of people across the globe. Equipped with a good understanding of their existing culture, we merged our Organisational Health Model with their strategic objectives and insights to create a tailored Culture Scan Framework. This culminated in a bespoke global culture survey, inviting 13,000 employees across the globe to share their day-to-day experiences.

Turning insight into action


We took everything we discovered and put it into a global culture report and an action plan, packed with clear, actionable insights and prioritised areas of focus for the next 3 years. We used our findings to help the organisation map and embed their behaviours and leadership expectations. And because their culture differed across countries and organisational units, we created localised reports with tailored findings and actions.

 

A clear path ahead


Our client now has a clear, in-depth understanding of their culture, filterable data dashboards they can continue to use and tangible actions they can take to make changes both globally and locally. The work we did has provided them with insight into their existing culture and how it varies across their organisation. They have clarity on what needs to change to achieve their culture ambition and that served as a strong foundation for all people initiatives that followed.
